PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Rutgers women's gymnastics team is preparing for the 2008 season in the newly-renovated Livingston Recreation Center, which just completed a substantial construction project to improve the "Home of Rutgers Gymnastics."
The Scarlet Knights will benefit from newly-designed enhancements to its facility which will provide optimal training conditions for the program.
A brand new surface for the floor exercise and a newly-added in-ground pit opens up the facility's layout and makes it more conducive for training. New bleachers are being constructed in the facility to present a pleasant experience for fans on the day of a meet.
Rutgers will open the 2008 campaign at the Livingston Recreation Center on Saturday, Jan. 5 at 1:00 p.m. against New Hampshire and Bridgeport.
