When did you first get started in gymnastics?
I first got started in gymnastics when I was 6 years old.
What got you interested in gymnastics?
My dad is what got me interested. He put me in classes just to keep me busy as a child and focus all of my hyperactive energy. He thought that it would be something fun for me to do.
What is your favorite event and why?
My favorite event would have to be the balance beam. Surprisingly, I just think beam can be calming. And even though it makes me the most nervous, I enjoy doing it the most.
What has been your favorite thing about the Rutgers program so far?
My favorite thing about the Rutgers program is the team atmosphere that comes along with competing and traveling with the team. I enjoy being with all the girls and just coming together for one goal--to win!
What made you decide to come to Rutgers?
When I decided to come to Rutgers I wanted to come to a program that was more than just gymnastics. I wanted a program that was academically involved just as much as it was athletically.
What is your favorite thing to do outside of gymnastics?
My favorite thing to do outside of gymnastics would probably be hanging out with my family. I never realized how fun and entertaining they were until I left and came back. They are always there for me and they are always entertaining me!
If you could meet anyone in the world who would it be and why?
I would meet Chris Brown!! Even though I've already met him, I would meet him again and again! I love his music! I love Chris Brown!
What is something interesting that most people don't know about you?
Well, there are a lot of things that people don't know about me. So I don't even know where to start! I'd just say I'm a different kind of girl!
What is your major and what is your desired profession upon graduation?
I'm a psychology major with a Biology minor. And my desired profession is to be a doctor.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
In five years I hope to see my self in medical school or graduating from medical school!
