Date Change for Rutgers' Scarlet Vs. Black Wrestle-Offs

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (October 12, 2011) – The date of Rutgers wrestling’s Scarlet vs. Black Wrestle-off event has been moved to Friday, Nov. 4 at 6 p.m., it was announced by RU head coach Scott Goodale. The intrasquad event’s location remains College Ave Gym.
Rutgers wrestling fans are encouraged to attend as the Scarlet Knights kick off their 2011-12 season. The wrestle-offs help in determining RU’s starting positions on the team. The event provides fans the opportunity to see the entire squad in action prior to the beginning of the season. Admission is free.
Rutgers begins the 2011-12 wrestling season on the road at the Brockport/Oklahoma Gold Classic on Saturday, Nov. 12. The Scarlet Knights’ first home dual is set for Dec. 2 against Old Dominion at 6:30 p.m. in the RAC.
