Rutgers Wrestling Announces Updates To 2011-12 Schedule

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (September 22, 2011) – Rutgers head wrestling coach Scott Goodale has announced several changes to the previously released 2011-12 wrestling schedule. The Scarlet Knights will host seven home matches, including four dates at the Rutgers Athletic Center.
Rutgers was previously scheduled to face Virginia Tech; however, the Hokies are no longer on the 2011-12 schedule. Another change to the slate has the Scarlet Knights hosting West Virginia in a matchup that was originally set in Morgantown.
RU will call the RAC home four times during the season. The Scarlet Knights will make their debut at the RAC against Old Dominion on Dec. 2. Rutgers will also host Navy on Jan. 22, West Virginia on Jan. 29 and the NWCA/Cliff Keen National Dual Championships on Feb. 11.
