PRINCETON, N.J. (Oct. 17, 2015) - The Rutgers men's cross country team finished 11th Saturday at the Princeton Invitational at the West Windsor Field in Princeton, N.J., completing the race in a time of 25.13.2.
Pennsylvania captured the team title with a time of 24:12.3. Villanova finished second with a mark of 24:10.1, while the University of Guelph, a Canadian institution, rounded out the top-three scores with a time of 24:26.0.
Sophomore Luke Wiley (Williamstown, N.J.) led the way for the Scarlet Knights, completing the race in 43rd with a time of 25:00.0. Senior Jaimin Vekaria (Clinton, N.J.) joined Wiley in the top-50, finishing in 50th with a time of 25:04.3
RU returns to action Sunday, Nov. 1, when the Scarlet Knights compete in the Big Ten Championships in Chicago, Ill.
