Women's X/C Regionally Ranked

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- The Rutgers women's cross country team was ranked 11th in the Preseason Mid-Atlantic Regional Rankings, it was announced on Monday by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
The Scarlet Knights captured the Metropolitan Championship title a year ago and in total had five place in the top 10 and eight members of the squad post top-20 times in the race.
Returning to the roster this fall is senior Paige Senatore (Delsea, N.J.), a Mid-Atlantic All-Region honoree and Metropolitan Championship individual champion.
Other Scarlet Knights also returning to the roster including juniors Kaitlyn Bedard (Ringoes, N.J.), Nisa Cicitta (Glen Gardner, N.J.) and Sarah Robbie (Marlton, N.J.), as well as sophomores Julia DeSpirito (Medford, N.J.), Alexandra Juzwiak (North Middletown, N.J.) and Celine Mazzi (Monroeville, N.J.).
The 2015 Rutgers women's cross country schedule gets underway on Saturday, Sept. 12 at the Monmouth Invitational at Holmdel Park.
