Ohio State Invite Results

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Rutgers women's cross country team got a glimpse of the Big Ten Cross Country Championship course on Saturday racing at the Ohio State Invitational.

RACE RECAP

The 12-team field featured No. 7 Michigan, No. 11 Michigan State, No. 16 Penn State and No. 21 Ohio State from the Big Ten.
Junior Olympia Martin paced the Scarlet Knights for the seventh-straight race dating back to last season with the top RU finish in 22:30.8
Also scoring for RU on Saturday were senior Lou Mialhe (22:59.7), senior Emma Bergman (23:06.2), senior Stephanie Mauer (23:26.0), senior Nadia Saponara (23:44.4) and sophomore Brooke Riedy (23:49.0).
Three Scarlet Knights captured new 6K PR's including freshman Isabella Godish (23:50.4) and sophomores Chloe Wong (23:52.7) and Kayla Rosario (24:11.0).
RU will see the course again when Ohio State hosts the 2019 Big Ten Cross Country Championships on Nov. 3.
