Several Scarlet Knights look to add conference medals to standout indoor season
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers men's and women's track and field will compete at the 2020 Big Ten Indoor Championships at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio. Competition begins on Friday, Feb. 28 at 10:50 a.m., concluding with the award ceremony on Saturday, Feb. 29 at 5 p.m.

Rutgers has a number of Scarlet Knights ranked in the top five of their respective events entering the Big Ten Indoor Championships.
On the men's side, junior Taj Burgess has the second-fastest time in the 400-meter, while sophomore Antonio Tarantino has the fifth-fastest time in the 200-meter dash. The 4x400-meter releay squad is fourth fastest in the conference.
In the field events, senior Perry Christie has the top mark in the high jump in the Big Ten, which he established with a school-record performance at the Meyo Invitational. Sophomore A'Nan Bridgett has the fourth-best distance in the long jump.
A pair of women's school record holders – junior Courteney Campbell and freshman Claudine Smith – will look to medal in the high jump and triple jump, respectively when those events take place Saturday.
Rutgers will look for additional contributions from several other events, including the women's 400-meter where sophomore Reanda Richards has the fifth-fastest time in the conference, and the men's and women's distance medley relay squads.
