No. 7 Rowing Takes On Women's Eastern Sprints

WORCESTER, Mass. – No. 7 Rutgers rowing travels to Lake Quinsigamond for the 2025 Eastern Sprints on Sunday, May 4 for its final regular season event before championships season. The Scarlet Knights will enter eight boats in the competition featuring championship-style heat and final rounds.
In addition to No. 7 Rutgers, the event will feature boats from No. 8 Brown, Boston College, Boston University, Bucknell, Colgate, No. 19 Columbia, UConn, Cornell, No. 21 Dartmouth, Drexel, Georgetown, George Washington, No. 14 Harvard, Holy Cross, Marist, UMass, Michigan State, Northeastern, Rhode Island, and Temple.
The top two boats in each heat will earn a trip to the grand finals in each event. Rutgers' 4th Varsity 8 will go straight to grand finals on Sunday afternoon.

The Scarlet Knights claimed 13 victories at the Big Ten Invitational two weeks ago in Florida racing against nationally ranked teams. Following the racing on Lake Quinsigamond, Rutgers will prepare for the Big Ten Championships on Sat. and Sun., May 17-18 in Indianapolis.
