Athletics and Motorola Solutions Launch “R Hometown Heroes” Campaign to Honor Those Serving Their Communities

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers Athletics is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with Motorola Solutions to launch R Hometown Heroes, a community focused campaign dedicated to recognizing the extraordinary contributions of those making a positive impact in their community.
The R Hometown Heroes initiative reflects a shared commitment between Rutgers Athletics and Motorola Solutions to celebrate the individuals who work tirelessly to protect and serve communities. Through this program, fans will have the opportunity to nominate deserving hometown heroes who exemplify courage, dedication and service. The faces we know, the heroes we trust.
Selected honorees will be recognized throughout the 2026-27 athletic season at several Rutgers sporting events and Rutgers social media platforms where their stories and impact will be highlighted in front of fans and the broader community.
