
2026 Homecoming & Family Weekend: Oct. 3 vs. Indiana

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers football's matchup against Indiana at SHI Stadium on Oct. 3 will be part of Homecoming & Family Weekend. Single game tickets are now on sale. The Scarlet Knights look forward to welcoming back alumni and families as part of a busy weekend on campus.
The game is presented by RWJBarnabas Health.
Add to the fun with a special Homecoming & Family Weekend pregame tailgate right outside of SHI Stadium. Enjoy games, family-friendly activities, exclusive giveaways, Rutgers VIP sightings and more before cheering on the Scarlet Knights.
Stay tuned for special recognition honoring the 2026 Rutgers Athletics Hall of Fame class, to be announced this summer, and the 1976 football team. The 11-0 Scarlet Knights led the nation in scoring defense (7.6), total defense (179.2) and rushing defense (83.9), holding eight opponents under 10 points with four shutouts.
The Rutgers Boardwalk will open four hours prior to kickoff on Homecoming & Family Weekend, featuring free rides and games, activities, live entertainment and fun for the whole family.
This will be the 92nd Homecoming game in program history. The Scarlet Knights are 55-35-1 on Homecoming weekend, with the event held every season since 1933, except 1943 and 2020.
