
Espenshade in 3rd Overall, RU in 6th at Canadian Collegiate Through 2nd Round

MacTier, Ontario – Bennett Espenshade carded a 2-under-par 70 in Monday's second round of the Canadian Collegiate Invitational, moving the Rutgers junior to 6-under 138 through 36 holes and into third place as the tournament heads to its final round at Oviinbyrd Golf Club.
Espenshade sits one shot behind co-leaders Johnnie Clark and Wyatt Provence of New Mexico, who are tied at -7, and one shot ahead of Notre Dame's Rocco Salvitti in fourth at -5.
As a team, Rutgers carded a +10 in round two to sit at +15 through 36 holes, sixth in the 13-team field. New Mexico leads the team standings at -15, followed by Notre Dame (-9), Mississippi State (E), Santa Clara (+2) and Missouri (+10).
Rounding out the Rutgers lineup through two rounds:

Espenshade and the Scarlet Knights will look to close strong when the final round is played Tuesday at Oviinbyrd Golf Club.
