Prior to Rutgers: A three-sport athlete at Franklin Township High School, competing in soccer, track and field and cross country...As a senior in 2017, named Somerset County Scholar Athlete of the Year, NJ All-Group 4 First Team in track, Skyland Conference All Conference First Team, Indoor Track Second Team All-State and Courier News Boys Indoor Track Runner of the Year...As a junior in 2016, selected as Courier News Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year, Somerset County First Team and Third Team All-State / Second Team All Group 4 in cross country...Finished second at the NJSIAA Group 4 State Sectional in the 5K with a personal best time of 15:37.1 … also placed first at the Somerset County Championships and New Balance Shore Coaches XC Invitational.
