Together, they serve over 600 student-athletes here at Rutgers Athletics, providing evidence-based nutrition recommendations to help meet individual performance, health, and lifestyle goals. The personalized nutrition strategies for each team and student-athlete will help them optimize performance and gain a competitive edge.

Our team of Sports Dietitians works closely with other members of the Sports Medicine staff including team physicians, athletic trainers, sports psychologists, and strength coaches to provide the highest quality of care possible.

The Rutgers Sports Nutrition mission is to provide quality nutrition and educate student-athletes and coaches on the importance of quality nutrition and the influence it has on overall sport performance and well-being. The staff strives to help student-athletes develop a positive relationship with food.

Whether your goal is to improve body composition, enhance recovery, build lean mass, or creating a plan to meet the energy demands to perform at your best, the Performance Nutrition staff is here to help our student-athletes succeed.
