A dynamic football standout under Greg Schiano, Mason Robinson begins his second year as an assistant strength coach with the football program.
Prior to his arrival on staff, Robinson owned and operated Shock the World, a personal training company designed to provide guidance towards a competitive and healthy lifestyle.
After his collegiate career, Robinson signed as an undrafted free agent with Tampa Bay.
Robinson played defensive back and wide receiver for the Scarlet Knights from 2007-12, appearing in 47 career games. Robinson totaled more than 1,300 yards and three touchdowns during his time “On the Banks,” helping Rutgers to four bowl victories and five bowl appearances. Robinson was voted a team captain as a senior in 2012.
A native of Somerville, New Jersey, Robinson earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Rutgers University.
