A native of Hoboken, New Jersey, Sam Rotondi is in her 14^th season with Rutgers football in 2023. Rotondi works as football operations coordinator and has past experience in the recruiting department. That included being responsible for registration at recruiting events, mailing recruiting materials, overseeing student workers and more.

Rotondi joined the program as a student in 2010, earning her degree in 2015 as a biology major with a minor in education as a social science.

Rotondi is engaged to be married to her fiancée Lauren Overeem in May of 2024.
