Therno Diallo

Therno (pronounced cheir-no) Diallo is in his first season as assistant director of facilities and events.
 
Diallo previously worked as the assistant athletic director for events/marketing at DePauw University where he oversaw game operations, community relations, concessions operations, facilities and marketing for 23 varsity sports. He managed game day operations across seven athletic facilities in addition to identifying areas in need of maintenance or improvements within those venues.
 
Prior to his time at DePauw, Diallo served as the C.D Henry intern with the Big Ten Conference, working extensively with the league’s football championship game and men’s and women’s basketball tournaments. He also served as the secondary sport liaison for men’s tennis and men’s and women’s indoor and outdoor track and field. Diallo worked as an athletic administrative intern at Francis Marion University and athletic operations intern at John Jay College before joining the Big Ten Conference.
 
Diallo earned his bachelor’s degree in sport management at SUNY Cortland where he was a football student-athlete. He later completed a master’s degree in sport administration at Canisius College.
