Anthony Misuraco

Anthony Misuraco is in his second season as head football athletic trainer for the Scarlet Knights in 2023. The New Jersey native rejoined the Rutgers sports medicine staff in January 2020 after previously working with the football team between 2011 and 2016. He has also provided care for the Scarlet Knights’ men’s and women’s track/field/cross country teams and for baseball.

In 2013 and 2014, Misuraco worked in the NFL with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a year-long intern athletic trainer. While with the Bucs, Misuraco worked under the leadership of Rutgers head football coach Greg Schiano and other current Scarlet Knight assistant coaches.

In his time away from Rutgers, Misuraco was a sports medicine supervisor for ATI Physical Therapy and an assistant athletic trainer at George Washington University.

Misuraco received his bachelor’s degree in exercise science from West Chester University in 2010 and a master’s degree in athletic training from Seton Hall University in 2012. He also holds a certification as a Corrective Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

Originally from Sicklerville, New Jersey, Misuraco now resides in Westampton with his wife, Autumn, and their daughter, Aurora.
