Dan Ryan has been a member of the Rutgers Athletic Department since 2013 and has worked in the facilities department since 2015. Ryan manages, schedules and operates the Rutgers Athletic Center as well as coordinating special events held in the RAC and other athletic facilities. Ryan also oversees all branding and signage throughout all Rutgers Athletics facilities.
Ryan handles facilities, game management and operations for men’s lacrosse, wrestling and men’s soccer. He provides game management and operational support for football and men’s and women’s basketball. Ryan has managed multiple events at Rutgers athletic facilities, including ‘Battle at the Birthplace’, ‘Spring Fever’, the renovation of the men’s basketball locker room and weight room, and university commencements.
Prior to joining the facilities department, Ryan spent two years as a Marketing Graduate Assistant. He was the primary Marketing Coordinator for Wrestling, Men’s Soccer, Women’s Soccer, Baseball and Women’s Lacrosse, where he would develop and execute marketing plans with the aims of increasing attendance and ticket sales, as well as enhancing the fan experience.
Ryan is a 2013 graduate of Rutgers, where the Basking Ridge, N.J. native earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science & Sport Studies.
