Rutgers University Athletics

Gabriel Nunez joined the R Fund staff as an Assistant Director of Development for Premium Seating and Leadership Giving in August 2019. His primary responsibilities are to build and grow relationships with supporters of Rutgers Athletics while advancing the fundraising priorities of the department.

Prior to arriving at Rutgers, Nunez worked at Stanford University as an Account Executive within the Stanford Athletics Department. While in Palo Alto, Nunez contributed to Stanford’s athletic fund, the Buck/Cardinal Club, on their new Priority Seat Expansion campaign as well as sold for their nine sports including football, men’s and women’s basketball, and baseball. This transition in pricing and donation resulted the department an additional two million dollars in revenue.

Gabriel began his college athletics career at the University of Louisiana at Monroe as a Tickets Sales Consultant before working at the University of North Texas, as a Senior Sales and Service Consultant.

Nunez graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Social Science in 2014.

A native of Fort Lauderdale FL, he currently resides in Bayonne, N.J.
