Ken Marsaglia joined Rutgers as an athletic trainer for the football team in 2024. Marsaglia previously served as the head football athletic trainer at Monmouth from 2019 to 2024.

While Marsaglia was with the Hawks, the team won back-to-back Big South championships in 2019 and 2021. In his first season, they posted the best record in Monmouth football history at 11-3 record and made it to the second round of the FCS playoffs. They were ranked as high as No. 11 in the nation, the highest-ever in program history.

Prior to his time at Monmouth, Marsaglia was an assistant athletic trainer for the football program at Richmond from 2016 to 2019.

From 2015 to 2016, Marsaglia worked in the NFL with the New York Jets as a seasonal athletic trainer.

Marsaglia also spent one year as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with Idaho State, working as the athletic trainer for their football and men’s basketball team. He graduated with a Master's of Education in Athletic Administration in 2015.

He received his Bachelor's of Science in Athletic Training from Temple in 2014.

As an undergraduate student at Temple, Marsaglia worked with the Temple Football team during the 2013 season. He worked with football and men’s lacrosse at the Penn in the spring of 2014. He also worked with the women’s basketball team at Drexel in the fall of 2012.

Marsaglia holds a certification in Mental Health First Aide and is a certified KAATSU Specialist (blood flow restriction).

Originally from Philadelphia, Marsaglia now resides in Toms River, N.J.
