Mark Sell, Senior Multimedia Specialist, joined Rutgers Athletics in August of 2013. Sell serves as the primary videographer/editor for eight Olympic sports: Women’s Soccer, Volleyball, Wrestling, Swimming & Diving, Baseball, Men’s Lacrosse, Tennis and Women’s Golf.
Sell produces a wide range of video content for use on social media and for in-venue videoboard LED systems. While helping organize/schedule intro video and recruiting shoots, Sell shoots home games and select road competitions for his above-mentioned assigned teams.
Previously working under the RVision – Live Production department up until 2020, Sell assisted in the equipment setup for Big Ten Plus and live RVision broadcasts/press conferences, as well as in-venue videoboard productions. He served as a live camera operator at the Jersey Mike’s Arena as well as SHI Stadium – he also worked the Daktronics Show Control system for men’s/women’s basketball, wrestling and gymnastics events at Jersey Mike’s Arena.
The Morristown, New Jersey, native graduated in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Syracuse University.
While working on the sports staff of his campus TV station “CitrusTV”, Sell videotaped and edited content from games of many Orange sports, which included from football, basketball, women’s ice hockey and volleyball. In addition, he also worked on the sports staff at the city’s NPR-affiliate radio station: WAER 88.3 FM Syracuse.
During the summers of his undergraduate years, Sell also served as a sports production intern for MSG-Varsity and News 12 New Jersey.
