Rutgers University Athletics

Noah Burton joined Rutgers Athletics in 2024 as an academic advisor. Burton works primarily with the Scarlet Knights' tennis and swimming and diving programs.

A former student-athlete, Burton competed in track and field at Michigan State, Minnesota and Texas Tech. Burton earned Second Team All-Big Ten accolades at Michigan State following a runner-up finish in the distance medley relay at the Big Ten Indoor Championships.

Burton earned his bachelor's degree in communications from Michigan State in 2020 and his masters' of sports management from Texas Tech in 2023. During his time at Texas Tech, Burton worked as an academic advising graduate assistant for the football team during the 2022-23 academic year. Prior to his arrival 'On the Banks,' Burton spent the last year with Georgia Tech overseeing academics for the Yellow Jackets' track and field program.
