Victoria Velez joined Rutgers Athletics in 2024. She currently serves as the Assistant Director of Marketing, Game Presentation and Fan Experience.
In her current role, Velez oversees the marketing efforts for the Scarlet Knights’ softball and women’s soccer programs, while assisting with football, men’s basketball and women’s basketball on game day. Velez also manages the internship program for the marketing department and coordinates logistics for the Rutgers Boardwalk.
Velez began her tenure at Rutgers as an intern in the business office. She was also the McLendon Foundation Fellow with Rutgers Athletics in 2024-25, gaining experience with different units across the athletic department.
A native of the Garden State, Velez graduated from Seton Hall University with her bachelor’s degree in business management in 2023 and her MBA in finance in 2024.
