Rowing Competes At Navy Day Regatta

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Rutgers rowing competed in the Navy Day Regatta in Philadelphia on Saturday, Oct. 10.
"It was great to see the team execute the race plan and carrying over what they have learned in practice into their race," said head rowing coach Max Borghard. "The team is looking forward to racing in Boston at Head of the Charles"
The Scarlet Knights rowed in the Women's Collegiate JV8+ and the Women's Open/Collegiate 8+ in their first event of the fall. The Rutgers Varsity 8 finished fifth out of 20 boats with a time of 14:14.98, while the JV8 finished ninth in a field of 19 boats in 15:08.20.
