         • The attendance of 109,879 marked the largest crowd Rutgers football has played in front        of in its history.
         • It was the second meeting between Rutgers and Michigan on the gridiron. Each team has        won on its home field in the series.
         • Rutgers scored on a kickoff return for its sixth non-offensive touchdown of the season,        the most since having seven in 2012. The Scarlet Knights have 69 such touchdowns since the        start of the 2001 season.
        
         INDIVIDUAL NOTES
         • LB Steve Longa
         o Recorded 11 tackles in the game to reach 102 on the season. He became the second player        in program history with three 100-tackle seasons, joining Tyronne Stowe who did it four        times (1983-86).
         o Now has 327 career tackles, ranked eighth in school history.
         o Owns 14 career games with at least 10 tackles, including six this season.
         o Has led the team in tackles in 25-of-35 career games.
        
         • WR Janarion Grant
         o Recorded sixth career touchdown on special teams with his fourth career kickoff return        score.
         o Now owns six career kickoff returns of at least 70 yards and extended school record        kickoff return yardage to 2,235.
         o Had a career-long 67 yard punt return to set up a field goal right before        halftime.
         o Recorded 263 all-purpose yards to top 200 for the second time this season. Had a        school-record 337 all-purpose yards versus Washington State.
        
         • PK Kyle Federico
         o Kicked a career-high three field goals on as many attempts. Also had three makes at USF        in 2012 and at Fresno State in 2013.
        
         • WR Vance Matthews
         o Recorded first career reception in the second quarter.
