Football Season Ticket Renewals, New Sales Open Monday

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers football fans excited for the first season under new head coach Chris Ash will have their first opportunity to purchase 2016 tickets when renewals and new sales begin on Monday, Dec. 14 at 9 a.m., it was announced.
"This is an exciting time for Rutgers football fans," said Director of Athletics Pat Hobbs. "I have received tremendous feedback from the Rutgers community and they are anxiously awaiting the start of a new era under Coach Ash."
Season ticket and parking pass pricing in 2016 has remained unchanged. Rutgers will offer fans the chance to secure their spot in the stadium with a $100 deposit for each new season ticket purchase.
The Scarlet Knights, with Ash at the helm in his first season as head coach, will open the home schedule at High Point Solutions Stadium on Sept. 10 against Howard. The remaining home schedule features New Mexico (Sept. 17), followed by Big Ten opponents Iowa (Sept. 24), Michigan (Oct. 8), Illinois (Oct. 15), Indiana (Nov. 5) and Penn State (Nov. 19).
For the 2016 season, Rutgers Athletics and R Fund launched a season ticket holder loyalty program rewarding priority points to faithful supporters based on the combined number of consecutive season ticket purchases for football and men's and women's basketball. Season ticket holders can enter the billing plan by Feb. 28. The deadline to pay any remaining balances and increase priority points is April 30. With the billing plan fans have the option to pay the Rutgers Scholarship Fund Gift portion up front and 50 percent of the tickets, parking and knight cushion where it applies or just 50 percent of the tickets and pay the entire gift by April 30.
Fans who renew or join the payment plan prior to Dec. 31 will be able to call their representative to claim one free ticket per seat to a remaining men's or women's basketball game, or wrestling match (while supplies last). They must place a phone call to their representative in order to claim tickets.

Sections 105, 126: $385 + $350 = $735
Sections 104, 106, 125, 127: $385 + $250 = $635
Sections 103, 107, 124, 128: $385 + $150 = $535
Sections 102, 108, 123, 129: $385 + $50 = $435
Sections 101, 109, 122, 130: $350 + $50 = $400
Sections 110-121, 131, 144: $280 + $25 = $305
Sections 207, 208, 223, 224: $350 + $150 = $500
Sections 206, 209, 222, 225: $315 + $50 = $365
Sections 202-205, 210-213, 219-221, 226-228: $315 + $25 = $340
Sections 201, 214, 217, 218, 229: $210 + $25 = $235

Rutgers Athletics Loyalty Program bonus point structure:
5-9 years of purchase: 1 bonus point
10-19 years of purchase: 2 bonus points
20-29 years of purchase: 4 bonus points

50+ years of purchase: 10 bonus points
