
Rowing Adds Edwards To Coaching Staff

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers head rowing coach Max Borghard announced that Farrah Edwards has been hired as an assistant coach.
"We are very excited to add Farrah to our coaching staff," said Borghard. "She brings with her Big Ten rowing experience as an athlete and spent the previous four years coaching for Dublin Crew in Ohio. She helped elevate the junior rowing program and will be a great addition to the rowing staff with her great energy."
Edwards spent the previous four years as a club coach, serving as the rowing director and head coach of Dublin Crew in Columbus, Ohio. She was responsible for program development across four squads, producing training plans and hiring a part-time coaching staff.
As coach of Dublin Crew she guided the girls four and girls lightweight pair to a top-four finish at the Midwest Junior Championships. The girls lightweight four placed 13th, girls pair 11th, and the girls four finished 17th at the Youth Nationals with Edwards at the helm.
A 2010 graduate of Ohio State, Edwards was a member of the First Varsity Four that won the Big Ten Championships and advanced to NCAA Nationals, finishing seventh in 2009. A four-time OSU Scholar Athlete, she was also named a Big Ten Scholar Athlete in 2008.
