TEAM NOTES
- Rutgers opened on the road playing a ranked opponent of the first time since 1985 at No. 5 Florida. The Scarlet Knights dropped to 75-63-9 all-time in season openers.
- Rutgers and Washington met for the first time on the gridiron. The two teams will meet next year to start the 2017 season at High Point Solutions Stadium.
- RU fell to 1-3 in games played in the Pacific Time Zone.

TE Nick Arcidiacono
- Recorded a career high with four receptions for 27 yards.
PK David Bonagura
- Converted a 38-yard field goal on his first collegiate kick. He added a 23-yard field later on to finish the day 2-for-2.
- Added an extra point to total seven points in first-career game.
DB Anthony Cioffi
- Recorded seventh career interception in the third quarter. Needs three more to move into the program top-10 list in the record books.
WR Janarion Grant
- Scored first career rushing touchdown and second recorded on offense. Owns eight career touchdowns overall adding in six previously on special teams.
- Accumulated 160 all-purpose yards to lead the team on the day. Now up to 3,756 career all-purpose yards, ranking fifth in program history.
DB Kiy Hester
- Led the team with eight tackles.
LB Greg Jones
- Made his first start for Rutgers and picked on a sack on five tackles, also adding a pass break-up.
