PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers football plays on the road for the third time in four games with a trip to Indiana to face the Hoosiers Saturday at noon. The Scarlet Knights won their previous Big Ten away game at Illinois and are 5-3 on the road since 2020.

- LB Olakunle Fatukasi, named one of 16 semifinalists for the Butkus Award, ranks 10th nationally and second in the Big Ten with 9.9 tackles per game. One of 12 players in program history to reach 300 career tackles, he is at 302 and needs 21 to move into the top-10 list.
- DL Julius Turner is up to 19.5 career tackles-for-loss and leads the defense with 40 starts.

- P Adam Korsak has had 99 consecutive punts without a touchback, the longest active streak nationally. He has downed 26 inside the 20 with four settling at the 1-yard line. Opposing punt returners have had a return of less than four yards 45-of-47 attempts, with 42 for zero yards or less.
- Rutgers scored its fourth special teams touchdown since 2020 against Delaware on a 62-yard punt return by WR Aron Cruickshank. It was his fifth career kick return score (four kickoff, one punt), needing three to tie the NCAA record.
- Rutgers has blocked 61 kicks under Schiano.
- PK Valentino Ambrosio is 10-for-14 on field goals with seven career games with multiple makes.
- Saturday will mark the eighth meeting on the gridiron between Rutgers and Indiana since first playing in 2014. The Scarlet Knights won the first two matchups, while the Hoosiers have taken the last five.
- Rutgers won the first game in 2014 by the score of 45-23, its largest margin of victory over a Big Ten opponent since joining the conference.
- In the 2015 meeting in Bloomington, Rutgers tied its school record with a 25-point comeback in a 55-52 victory that featured 1,223 combined yards of total offense. The 55 points are the most scored by Rutgers in a Big Ten game since joining the conference. Rutgers rallied for 28 unanswered points to end the game, as Kyle Federico hit a 26-yard field as time expired.
- Last year at SHI Stadium, Rutgers made it a 23-15 game in the third quarter, but No. 17 Indiana responded with a pair of touchdowns to take a 37-21 victory. WR Bo Melton had his first career multi-score game. Defensively, LB Olakunle Fatukasi notched 14 tackles with 2.5 for loss.
