PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers football (0-1) lost to UMass (1-0), 37-21, on Thursday night at SHI Stadium.
WR KJ Duff finished with a career-high nine receptions and three touchdowns, totaling 196 receiving yards. Duff Jr. posted touchdown scores from four, six and a career-long 78 yards away.
DL Farell Gnago recorded a sack on defense for the Scarlet Knights.
