PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers football's next home game at SHI Stadium on Nov. 5 versus No. 4 Michigan is set for a 7:30 p.m. start on Big Ten Network, the Big Ten announced Monday. The game is presented by Horizon.
Fans are encouraged to be in their seats by kickoff for a special pregame light and fireworks show.
It will be the annual Military Appreciation Game, as Rutgers welcomes all active-duty and veteran members of the armed forces and their families to attend. Through Rutgers Athletics' R Heroes program, fans will once again have the opportunity to purchase and donate tickets to active-duty and veteran members of the armed forces and their families. Giveaways for RU's game with the Wolverines include "Beat Michigan" buttons, shakers and posters at the pregame pep rally. Along Scarlet Knight Way,
The Rutgers Boardwalk opens at 3 p.m. and will feature New Jersey's best food trucks, rides, live entertainment and carnival games, along with military vehicles for fans to pose for photos with.
