SAAC Food Collection at The Rutgers Boardwalk

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will hold a food collection Saturday at The Rutgers Boardwalk prior to the Senior Day/Thank You Fans game at SHI Stadium versus No. 11 Penn State. All items donated will go to REPLENISH (Middlesex County Food Bank).

Fans are encouraged to drop off non-perishable items at the entrance of The Rutgers Boardwalk near the football equipment truck. Collection will take place between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., before the pep rally, team arrival and Scarlet Walk.

The Rutgers Boardwalk will feature some new attractions this week, including an ice rink, mechanical bull and swinging ship. The area opens at 11 a.m. and includes various food trucks, rides and carnival games. Posters, "Beat Penn State" buttons, "I Chopped 2022" buttons and shakers will be given out at the pregame pep rally.

Gates at SHI Stadium open at 1:30 p.m. and kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
