Women's Golf Set for Competition at Fresno State Classic

FRESNO, Calif – For the second time this spring, Rutgers women's golf will head out west, this time for the Fresno State Classic, where the Scarlet Knights will return to compete in the event for the first time since 2015.
Teams will play 36 holes on Monday, beginning with an 8:30 a.m. local time shotgun start. They will play the final round on Tuesday at the same time
RU is coming off a t-11 finish at the Briar's Creek Invitational, where the team competed against a slew of ranked programs and held its own, shooting an 897 to keep its season scoring average per round under 300.
On the individual end, Nicole Ewing will look to continue her strong play for Rutgers. Ewing recently set a career-low with a 4-under 68 in the final round of the Westbrook Invitational. In the team's most recent event, Ewing led RU on the individual leaderboard with a t-32 finish at Briar's Creek.
With three top-three finishes in seven events, Leigha Devine is in the midst of another strong season for the Scarlet Knights, with a scoring average of 73.19.
