Longerbeam Drafted by Ravens

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers football DB Robert Longerbeam was selected in the sixth round, pick No. 212, of the 2025 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday. Longerbeam becomes the 105th Scarlet Knight to reach the NFL after playing for head coach Greg Schiano.

Career: Played in 53 games with 31 starts at cornerback ... a two-time honorable mention All-Big Ten selection ... totaled 154 tackles with 4.5 for loss and two sacks ... recorded five interceptions and 37 pass breakups ... finished third among rostered 2024 FBS players with 42 career passes defended ... led the Big Ten in passes defended in 2024 ... had three seasons with double-digit pass breakups and eight games with multiple passes defended ... added five forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries ... saw action in three bowl games ... served as a team captain ... a four-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree.
