Chloe Timberg Wins USATF Indoor Championships

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Former Rutgers All-American pole vaulter Chloe Timberg won her first national title at the 2026 USATF Indoor Championships on Sunday, March 1 at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.
Timberg outpaced the field as she cleared a height of 4.70m (15' 5"). The school pole vault record holder in both the indoor and outdoor height, Timberg won the event and qualified to represent Team USA at the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Kujawy Pomorze, Poland in March.
One of the most decorated track and field athletes in Rutgers history, Timberg was a four-time Big Ten Champion and seven-time All-American. Her illustrious career included the 2024 NCAA Outdoor National Championship and a silver medal at the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Championships. She was named the 2024 Big Ten Field Athlete of the Year, Field Athlete of the Championships and USTFCCCA Mid-Atlantic Field Athlete of the Year at the conclusion of the indoor season.
