Rowing Heads To B1G Championships Ranked At #12

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - As Rutgers women's rowing readies for the 2026 Big Ten Championships this weekend, the Scarlet Knights will enter at No. 12 for the fifth-straight week in the week ten CRCA Pocock Collegiate Rowing Association Poll released on Tuesday.
Rutgers was last in action two weeks ago with a third-place finish at the Women's Eastern Sprints, winning 10 of its 12 races.
Grand final racing opened with the Third Varsity 4 as Rutgers' B boat dominated the field, outrowing teammates from the A boat by 16.621 seconds and was also in front of Cornell, #23 Dartmouth, Holy Cross, and #21 Harvard-Radcliffe.
The Fourth Varsity 8 also finished with a commanding lead in its victory, crossing the finish line 15.227 seconds better than runner-up Northeastern.
The Second Varsity 4 picked up its grand final victory, besting #23 Dartmouth with an 8.134-second margin of victory and ahead of third-place Columbia and fourth-place #9 Brown.
The First Varsity 4 finished ahead of two ranked programs to come in 6.240 seconds ahead of #23 Dartmouth and third-place #9 Brown.
The Third Varsity 8 also claimed a grand final victory, clocking in 5.302 seconds ahead of second-place #23 Dartmouth and also prevailed over #21 Harvard-Radcliffe.
Rounding out the afternoon grand final appearances were the Second Varsity 8 with a runner-up performance and the Varsity 8 placing sixth. The Second Varsity 8 had a close finish with #9 Brown and were narrowly edged by 1.122 seconds.
