
Field Hockey Alumnae Katie Larmour to Play in Upcoming FIH Pro League

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers field hockey alumn Katie Larmour will compete internationally with Team Ireland this month. Larmour and Team Ireland will have eight upcoming games in two stages of Pro League Competition between June 13 and June 27.
First, the squad heads to Rottendam in The Netherlands, where they face Netherlands and Spain twice apiece. Then comes the stage in Germany, where the Irish face Germany and China twice apiece in Berlin.
Larmour has recently made her mark on the international stage with Team Ireland, initially earning selection last summer, and continuing to compete at events such as the EuroHockey Championship and the FIH pro League and World Cup Qualifiers
Larmour played at Rutgers from 2016 to 2021. Over that time, she was a fixture in the team's midfield, playing in 86 games (83 of them starts) and scoring 17 goals with 18 assists for 52 points, including six game-winning goals. She ranks in the top-15 in program history in both assists and points. Larmour was Rutgers' Headley-Singer Award winner in 2022. She was a two-time All-American, reaching First Team in 2021, a four-time All-Region selection (three times on the First Team) and a three-time First Team All-Big Ten selection. In 2019, she was a member of the Big Ten All-Tournament team, and in 2021, she was a key piece in leading RU to the Big Ten Tournament championship. She was also a First Team All-ECAC selection, multi-time Werblin Award winner and a team captain.
