Jordan Welch joined the Rutgers Athletics Compliance staff in July of 2024, after having served as an Assistant AD of Athletics Compliance at the University of North Carolina and working in their athletic compliance office since July of 2022. For Rutgers, Welch is responsible for overseeing all compliance efforts in the sports of football, swimming & diving, and women's tennis.
While at the UNC, Welch oversaw education, monitoring, and rules interpretations related to NCAA bylaws 12, 13, and 14 for all 28 sports. He also served as the transfer portal contact, and liaison to the admissions and registrar’s offices. Previously, Welch worked in athletics compliance for four years at The Ohio State University, and two years at the University of Nebraska.
Welch received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina, and his graduate degree from the MAIAA program at the University of Nebraska- Lincoln.
