Angelino “Lino” Mark is a 6-foot-2, 185-pound point guard known for his speed, explosiveness, and high basketball IQ. Bringing a strong winning pedigree from the West Coast, Mark arrives in Piscataway this fall ready to make an immediate impact.
2024–25 High School Season at Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks, CA):

Started and played in all 21 games, averaging 15.1 points and 3.2 assists per game, leading Sherman Oaks to an 18–3 record.

Collected 78 total rebounds (62 defensive), 39 steals, and 10 blocks.

Shot 48% from the field, 77% from the free-throw line, and just under 40% from three-point range.

Scored a season-high 27 points vs. Saugus High School (Nov. 23).

Reached the 1,000-point milestone vs. Bishop Alemany (Jan. 22); finished his high school career with 1,104 points and 272 assists.

Comes from a basketball family—his brother, Christopher, and uncle, Jhonny, both played professionally overseas.

Proud of his Filipino heritage, Mark shares a cultural bond with former Scarlet Knight Dylan Harper.

His mother, Jocelle Maliwanag, fondly recalls him carrying a basketball everywhere as a child, like it was a third limb.

Jocelle deeply connected with the Rutgers campus during their family visit and was moved by its diversity. She was especially thrilled to see Lino’s connection with Harper—and coincidentally shares a birthday with Maria Harper, Dylan’s mom.

The Mark family has strong ties to the region, with relatives in Brooklyn, NY, and Newark, NJ.

Lino’s uncle is actor and comedian Bill Bellamy, a proud Rutgers alumnus.
