Rutgers Women's Tennis Releases 2008 Fall Schedule

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers head women's tennis coach Ben Bucca has announced the squad's 2008 fall schedule, which includes one home match and three tournaments.
"We have put together a great fall schedule with the highlight being one of a select group of teams across the country to be invited to the USTA Invitational," said Bucca. "The USTA Invitational consists of some of the top programs across the country. It's a great challenge for the team and we are looking forward to it."
The team will kick off the season on Wednesday, Sept. 17 when they welcome Temple to the RU Tennis Complex for a 1 p.m. match. The Owls advanced to the NCAA Tournament last season where they fell to No. 9 Duke.
RU will next be in action at the Brown Invitational in Providence, R.I. The tournament will run from Sept. 26-28. The USTA Invitational, which is being held at the National Tennis Center, will take place Oct. 11-13. The fall slate will conclude at the ITA Regional's which will be held Oct. 24-26 in Philadelphia, Pa.
