Petrini moved on to the Round of 16 and defeated Brown's Jessica Harrow in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2, to earn her spot in the quarterfinals. Petrini matches up with fifth-seeded Jessica Wacnik of Boston College on Monday at 9 a.m.
The tournament seeded the top 16 players into the bracket with numbers 17 through 32 being placed alphabetically into the field. Petrini was assigned to the latter category.
