Rutgers to Host Annual Women's Tennis Party

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (December 16, 2013) - Head Rutgers tennis coach Benjamin Bucca Jr. has announced the details for the 27th annual women's tennis party.
The party will take place on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014 at the East Brunswick Racquet Club, starting at 7 p.m. The evening includes three hours of round robin doubles, a buffet dinner and many Rutgers-themed raffle prizes.
Additionally, Rutgers tennis apparel will be on sale at incredible prices, while the program will also auction two tickets to this year's U.S. Open Tennis Championship.
The cost of attending is $60.00 for players and $30.00 for "lounge lovers." Players of all levels are welcome to take part in the tennis-related activities. Those who are not interested in playing are encouraged to come regardless, and spend the evening in the lounge for food, drink, prizes and great company.
All proceeds from the party benefit the team's spring break trip. This season, Rutgers will play three matches in New Orleans, La., and face off against Southern University, Southeastern Louisiana and Tulane.
