
Rutgers Tennis Falls to No. 36 Yale, 6-1

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (March 30, 2013) - The Rutgers women's tennis team lost to No. 36 Yale, 6-1, in New Haven, Conn., Saturday. The Scarlet Knights earned one point in singles play.
Led by 10th-year head coach Benjamin Bucca, RU fell to 10-6 on the season, while the Bulldogs improved to 11-2 in 2013.
The Scarlet Knights dropped the doubles point to Yale, before heading into the singles matches.
In the No. 4 singles contest, junior Stefania Balasa (East Brunswick, N.J.) defeated Bulldog Amber Li (6-4, 6-2). Balasa improved to 4-2 on the season.
Rutgers is back in action on the road, taking on BIG EAST opponent St. John's on Thursday, April 4 at 1 p.m.
