LAST TIME VS. INDIANA
Rutgers men's soccer was upended by No. 9 Indiana on the afternoon of Sept. 18, 2011 at Yurcak Field as the Scarlet Knights dropped a 2-0 result to the Hoosiers.
The Scarlet Knights were locked in a tight battle with the ninth-ranked team in the nation, limiting the Hoosiers to just two first-half shots. However Indiana made the best of its first-half chances, taking a 1-0 lead in the 39th minute on a goal from Blake Wise. That score would stand as the eventual game-winner with a second-half goal from A.J. Corrado increasing the tally to a 2-0 final.
Rutgers remained competitive with Indiana throughout the game with eight shot opportunities, including forcing Hoosier keeper Luis Soffner into a pair of saves.
GETTING THE LOOKS
