Men's Soccer Reveals 2026 Fall Schedule

PISCATAWAY, N.J. — Rutgers men's soccer has revealed its 2026 fall schedule, featuring 16 total matches, including nine to be played at RWJ Barnabas Stadium at Yurcak Field.

The team will kick off the campaign with a pair of road games in the Washington D.C. area, facing American on Thursday, Aug. 20 followed by Georgetown on Sunday, Aug. 23.
The Scarlet Knights will then return home for a five-game homestand starting with Sacred Heart on Friday, Aug. 28. RU will then welcome Seton Hall (Sept. 4), UC Santa Barbara (Sept. 7), UCLA (Sept. 11) for its Big Ten opener and finally Princeton (Sept. 15) for its final nonconference test.
Rutgers will dive back into conference play with another two-match road stretch at Ohio State on Friday, Sept. 18 and defending National Champions Washington a week later on Friday, Sept. 25. The team will come back from the west coast to host Northwestern on Friday, Oct. 2 and Maryland on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
The final five contests of the slate will rotate between home and away, starting with a trip to Wisconsin (Oct. 10) before coming back "On The Banks" to handle Indiana (Oct. 16). From there, the team will journey to Penn State (Oct. 20) before hosting Michigan (Oct. 23) and ending the season at Michigan State (Oct. 30).
Additional information regarding promotions, TV designations and match times for the 2026 fall campaign will be released at a later date.
