EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J. (Feb. 20, 2015) - Returning home after a three-game road swing, the Rutgers women's tennis team returned to the win column with a 7-0 sweep of NJIT on Friday afternoon.
"We had to focus on what we could do and what we had control over in this match and that was fighting hard and doing what we have been practicing," said junior Mariam Zein (Sugarland, Texas). "It showed since we came out here and took care of business like we wanted to."
The Scarlet Knights improve to an overall mark of 3-2, while the Highlanders fall to a record of 1-7.
