Tennis to Host Alumni Match
Nov 02 | Women's Tennis
PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers tennis will host its Alumni Match on Saturday, November 5 at the East Brunswick Racquet Club. The event begins at 5 p.m.
"The alumni match should be a great event," said head coach Hilary Ritchie. "Rutgers tennis has a terrific group of alumnae and this match is another way to connect our current players with that group. We are fortunate to have former letter winners from both the men's and women's tennis teams competing in the match, many of whom are still accomplished players."
Current and former Scarlet Knights will compete in round robin play from 5-7 p.m., followed by singles and doubles play for the alumni until 9 p.m. Dinner will be provided to all participants and alumni will have a chance to interact with the current roster at the end of the match.
RU released its spring schedule for the 2017 season. The 21-match slate features 11 home contests and 11 matchups with Big Ten Conference foes. Rutgers begins its season on Jan.27, 2017 against Delaware at the EBRC. The full 2017 schedule can be found here.
