Tennis Wraps Up Weekend Play with Loss to Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. - The Rutgers tennis team lost, 4-0, to Nebraska Saturday afternoon in Lincoln, Neb., to conclude weekend action. The match was the first of three contests the Scarlet Knights will compete in during spring break.
In doubles play, sophomore Chloe Lee (Albuquerque, N.M.) and junior Ksenija Tihomirova (Riga, Latvia), fell in the No. 2 position, 6-2. The Cornhuskers also defeated RU in the No. 3 position to secure the point.
In singles, senior Gina Li (Hillsborough, N.J.) dropped her match in the No. 1 position, 6-1, 6-3, to Nebraska's Maggy Lehmicke.
The Scarlet Knights continue their spring break trip when they compete against Prairie View A&M on Tuesday, March 15.
