Tennis Named ITA All-Academic Team

2016 All-Academic Teams & Scholar Athletes List
PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers tennis was named a 2016 All-Academic Team, it was announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). Additionally, Farris Cunningham, Lindsey Kayati, Chloe Lee and Ksenija Tihomirova earned ITA Scholar-Athlete individual honors.
The ITA All-Academic Team requires at least a 3.2 team grade point average (on a 4.00 scale), while individual honors calls for a GPA of 3.5 or higher. It is the eighth time in the last nine years the Scarlet Knights have been awarded for their academic success. RU was one of 13 Big Ten Conference teams recognized this year.
The Scarlet Knights shined in the classroom during the 2016 season, as seven student-athletes earned Spring 2016 Academic All-Big Ten selections. Lee was also designated as a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar.
